Thapar mainly offers B.Tech through 10+2 (PCM) route, not lateral entry into all branches. And aerospace isn't a standard core branch there.
What you can do:
- If you want Thapar → go through 12th (PCM) + JEE route
- Or look for colleges that offer lateral entry after diploma (but even there, branch change to aerospace can be tricky)
So yes, possible path exists — but not directly from your current diploma into aerospace at Thapar.
If aerospace is your goal, better to plan the path carefully from here.

Polaris and Newton are not college and university itself, neither are they affiliated to any university as a college. They just "partner" with institutions to provide B.Tech degrees. These institutions mostly not well known universities with no legacy and ranking, like Madhavi, Rishihood, which are looking for a new stream of revenue for themselves. The partnership comes with trade offs and limitations, and they are bound to follow the same prescribed curriculum and rules of UGC and AICTE to function legally.
Scaler is also not a college or university. But their structure is different. They don't partner with any institution and g

At LPU, Phase 1A, 1B, and Phase 2 are simply different admission phases, not different courses or campuses. The main difference is timing and benefits. In Phase 1A and 1B (early phases), students usually get higher chances of scholarships, better fee concessions, and more availability of preferred branches like CSE. In Phase 2 (later phase), admission is still open, but scholarship benefits may be reduced and popular branches can start filling up, so options may be limited.
Regarding campuses, LPU has only one main campus in Punjab for engineering, including CSE. There are not multiple campuses for CSE, but since the university is very

Yes, with a rank of 14146 in LPUNEST, you still have a good chance of getting admission in Computer Science and Engineering at Lovely Professional University (LPU). Admission in LPU is not based only on rank but also on your 12th marks and overall eligibility criteria. If you have around 50% or more in your qualifying exams, getting CSE is quite easy. With slightly lower marks, you may still get admission in later rounds or in CSE with specialization. Moreover, your rank may affect the scholarship amount you receive. Overall, admission is very much possible but the final allotment depends on seat availability and your academic performa

Yes, students at Lovely Professional University (LPU) generally get sufficient gym time as the campus has well-equipped fitness centers, and not all students use them at the same time, so overcrowding is manageable. The gyms are paid, which further controls the crowd. Teachers are decent and focus mainly on completing the curriculum and helping students score well, though the experience can vary depending on the faculty. Campus life at LPU is vibrant, with malls, food courts, events, and a lot of extracurricular activities, making it enjoyable and engaging. Students just need to balance fun and studies properly. Also, most academ

This decision of selecting JIIT Noida (CSE) over lower branches at DTU or NSUT depends on your career goals and interest-
- Branch Priority: If you are passionate about coding and software development, choosing CSE at JIIT is generally recommended over a non-tech branch (like Civil or Environmental) at Delhi Technological University (DTU) or Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).
- College Brand: DTU and NSUT carry a higher "government brand" value, which can be beneficial for non-tech roles (consulting) or higher studies. JIIT offers a very strong coding culture and tech-focused exposure that rivals these institutes for software eng
