Hello Piyush!

Yes, you can apply for CTET, but only for Paper 1, which is for the teachers for class 1 to class 5. The eligibility criteria for CTET Paper 1 is :

  1. Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) 
    OR
  2. Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration).
    OR
  3. Bachelor’s degree with a BEd degree.

CUET 2026 provisional answer keys will be released on the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in. The provisional answer key is available on NTA and the CUET UG official website, which candidates can directly download, without having to log in. The final answer keys of CUET UG 2026 will be released before the declaration of results. Candidates will be able to download download the answer key PDF for online examinations.

Yes, there is an exam centre for CTET in Agra. The code of the centre is 275. The exact details of the exam centre will be given on your admit card.

The exam will likely be held on July 7, 2024, the admit cards will be released by July 5, 2024. Before that, a pre-admit card will be released to inform students about the allotment of exam centres. The paper will be held in two shifts, Paper 1 and Paper 2. All the information will be given in the admit card.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the UPSA exam (Kerela PSC) if you have cleared the CTET Elementary level. The eligibility criteria for CTET gives you a lot of equivalent options to choose from. Thus, if you hvae cleared the CTET Elementary level, you are good to go for USPA exam.

The basic pay of a CTET-qualified PRT teacher is around INR 47,600. Check below in detail:

Pay Scale- INR 9,300-34,800

Grade Pay- INR 4,800

Basic Pay after 7th Pay Commission- INR 47,600

HRA- INR 4,350

TA- INR 1,600

Gross Salary (Basic Pay+HRA+TA)- INR 53,550

Net Salary- INR 48,000-50,000.

The CTET certificate is valid for lifetime, with effect from the year 2011. This applies to anyone who passed the CTET exam in 2011 or later.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) uploads the digital marksheets and eligibility certificates to DigiLocker after the result declaration. You can download your CTET certificate using your login credentials on the DigiLocker website or app.

The CTET OMR sheet is released by the CBSE after the declaration of results. Candidates who want to get their CTET OMR sheet along with the calculation sheet need to apply for the same by paying a fee of INR 500. The CTET OMR sheet fee needs to be paid through a Bank Draft in favour of the Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi/ New Delhi. The Calculation Sheet with a copy of the OMR Sheet will be provided to the candidate by speed post only.
