Important steps to start a career in cybersecurity:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a similar field. Knowledge of firewalls and various forms of endpoint security. Knowledge of languages/tools such as C+, Java, Node, Python, Ruby, Go, or Power Shell is an added advantage. The ability to often work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Possess the right eye for detail and outstanding problem-solving skills. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Cyber Security trends and hacker tactics.

You can start your career in cyber security by studying for a Diploma or degree in cyber security, forensics and information technology which will give you a solid foundation for initiating your career in this field. Many online certification courses are also available to help you get started in this high-demand field.

SRM University never announced branch wise cut-off. Officially there is no cut-off marks or ranks for CSE and other branches. Seats will be filled based on availability through SRMJEEE online counseling. Based on your choice filling allotment will be given as per availability of seats. NO, Apurva, you can't. B.Tech with specialisation in cyber security is job oriented after class 12th PCM. In simple terms, cyber security deals with the security of computer systems from the theft of computer hardware, software, data and disruption or misdirection of the services provided by computer systems.

First you have to satisfy minimum eligibility conditions that are minimum 55%(45% for SC/ST) in BSc or qualifying degree and minimum 50% in qualifying exam.
Then cutoff will decide on basis of numbers of candidates appeared in exam and difficulty level of exam.
