To secure a seat in DPhama at Kalinga University, candidates must qualify for KALSEE entrance exams. Candidates are admitted to the DPharma programme based on scores of Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) entrance exam. Further, candidates are required to complete the application process of the Kalinga University as well. Kalinga University offers a very limited number of seats for its DPharma programme, which is around 60 seats only. Candidates must qualify for the KALSEE exam to secure a DPharma seat at the university. Kalinga University DPharma seat reservation policy mainly provides seats to the students belonging to the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes by the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration.

Kalinga University DPharma is a two years programme that is spread acorss two term. Each term covers core subjects such as Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Human Anatomy, Physiology, etc. The overa subjects covered in the first term of the DPharma curriculums are:

The last date to apply for the exam is not out yet. As per the official sources, the last date to apply is likely to be in July (tentative). Candidates willing to be admitted to the BPharma course can apply for the exam by filling out the KALSEE application form and paying an application fee of INR 2,500 via online paying mode.

The overall percentage required for the Kalinga University Dharma programme is 45% aggregate for General candidates and 40% aggregate for candidates belonging to ST/SC or OBC category. Additionally, candidates must secure 50% aggregate in the university-based entrance exam, KALSEE. Candidates can follow the KALSEE exam pattern for admission to the BPharma programme at Kalinga University. Along with the percentage, DPharma's eligibility criteria include certain subjects such as Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology.
