Admissions for the DPharm programme are expected to commence soon for the academic year 2025. The university is currently not accepting applications for admissions to various courses for the academic year 2025-26. Interested candidates can visit the university's official website to submit an online application. Before applying, they must ensure that they fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria. According to the previous year's academic calendar, admissions are expected to take place in August (tentative).

APJ Abdul Kalam University conducts merit-based admission for its DPharm course. Merit is calculated using the score of the last qualifying exam. Only those candidates who have a valid academic exam score are eligible for PG level admission. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKU), Indore offers a two-year full-time DPharm programme. The university has a prescribed eligibility criteria for admission to its DPharm programme. As per the criteria, candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects, and a minimum of 45% aggregate to be eligible for admission. Moreover, they are required to present the relevant documents proving their eligibility at the time of admission.

Pursuing a DPharma at MUIT (Maharishi University of Information Technology) is generally considered not too difficult for students with a good foundation in 10+2 level. The course gives admission to 100's of students.
