D.Pharma

Both B Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy) and D Pharmacy (Diploma in Pharmacy) lead to careers in the pharmaceutical sector, but they differ in terms of qualification level, job roles, and career scope. 

While D Pharmacy is a short-term Diploma suitable for entry-level pharmacy jobs, B Pharmacy is a degree course that offers broader career opportunities in research, industry, and higher studies.

Since 2017, the P.R. Patil Institute of Pharmacy, Talegaon (SP) has operated as a private educational organization. The institution maintains approval from two respected bodies in the sector: the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as well as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  The total tuition fee for a two-year D.Pharma. course at the institute is around INR 12 K. Apart from this, the student may also need to pay some additional charges like hostel fee, application fee, admission fee, etc.

The important documents which are required for physical verification after getting selected in merit list of Alpine Group of Institutes DPharm are as follows:- 

1- Admit card of 10th and +2 for the verification.

2- Marksheet of 10th and +2for the schooling verification.

3- Transfer or migration certificate.

4- Character certificate and medical certificate.

5- Caste certificate (if applicable).

All candidates applying for D. Pharmacy at Dr. YS Khedkar College of Pharmacy must finish their Science stream education in Class 12 with a minimum of 50% scores including biology from a recognised educational board. Those holding the Pharmacy Council of India approved D Pharma degree achieving 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission. Admissions at Dr. YS Khedkar College of Pharmacy depend on the candidate's score in 10+2 exams but several spaces are reserved for those who succeed in the Pharm.D entrance exam. Students enrolled in the 2-year D.Pharma programme at the college pay INR 12,000 as their complete tuition charges.

At present DPEE exam is prosponded till new update.

The cut-off percentage for admission to the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma.) course at a college varies depending on the college and university. 

Eligibility for D.Pharma.

To be eligible for admission to the D.Pharma. course, you must have passed 10+2 in the science stream from a recognized board. 

You must have a minimum aggregate score of 35% in 10+2. 

You must have English as one of the subjects in 10+2. 

You must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) in 10+2, or a 3-year degree course in Science. 

No, you can not get direct admission in BPharma after completing DPharma. You have to first apply for BPharma by submitting a form in BOPEE Office at your near residency. Then you have to give an exam. After you qualify the exam, you have choice to choose the college for B.Pharma. Preference is based on marks obtained in Exam.

The candidate must have passed Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics subjects with 45% aggregate or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) can apply for admission. Class 12 from NIOS is eligible for admission at  Dev Bhoomi School of Pharmacy and Research. Apart from this, the duration of the course is two years.
