If the preceding three years are to be considered, the DY Patil Akurdi cutoff trend for BE Computer Engineering has been falling. The DY Patil Akurdi cutoff for the B.E. in computer engineering in 2023 was 35755, which is less than the 2022 cutoff of 40075, which was also less than the 2021 cutoff of 82260.

DYPCOE Akurdi will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The JEE Main score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course
