Decent faculty, decent infra, decent placements.
Placements: As far as I know, if you study decently and avoid backlogs and all that stains on your academics, you are going to get placed here. The college has tie-ups with some really reputable companies like Tata, Mahindra, and all, and students do get placed with good packages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, of course, there are 2 libraries, labs are good, and classrooms are also decent. Some benches are small tho. There are two cafeterias, an indoor sports hall with two tt tables and some board games. Speaking about the quality, they were all just renovated months ago, but even before that, the quality was still good.
Faculty: Gotta say the best thing is the faculty, but it's a hit or miss. Some faculty members are really enthusiastic about their subject, and their lectures are fun to be a part of. While some lecturers are not so much. The college is autonomous, so the curriculum is quite up to date. Semester exams are easy if you study.

Excellent infrastructure and highly educated staff.
Placements: 80 to 85% of students got placed last year with a very good package. Top MNCs like TATA Motors, Capgemini, and Ford visit for campus drives. We also get many internship opportunities from the first year itself, as well as visits to various fields. They also host seminars and programs for it.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure with spacious classrooms and corridors. They also have various clubs like sports, Kala Mandal, and NCC, which benefit us. There is also a huge and well-maintained library with an abundance of books. Hostel facility is not that good, but the canteen is clean.
Faculty: Excellent and well-educated staff. The curriculum is excellently designed for the students. Academic lectures and practicals are well-managed by the faculty members, preventing any burden on the students. Class tests are conducted on a regular basis, along with remedial and doubt lectures.
Other: As I am interested in automobiles, I wanted a good college. DY Patil offers many opportunities from the beginning itself to showcase our talents and provides a good platform.

Absolutely satisfied because of good faculties and good placement
Placements: 85% student were placed in our college. Great efforts were taken by the TPO and placement cell of the college. The highest package was 8.5 LPA and lowest package was 3 LPA. Top recruiters were Worli, Spark Minda, Sify, Uno Minda. Almost all students have completed their internship in third year. Top roles offered in our college is graduate engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: There was a smart class room in our college, labs were highly maintained by faculties and assistants. Library were encouraging students to take boobs from them, reading room was highly maintained for students to study in good environment. Whole campus was covered with wifi.
Faculty: Faculties were very knowledgeable and qualified. The nature of most of the faculties were helpful. This course was fully curriculum relevant and course was making students fully industry ready. Pass percentage of students was good for semester exam because of preliminary exam conducted by college.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in automobile industry and the placement was offered good by the college. The events, fest were highly appreciated and done by college by giving funds for the fest and events.

Absolutely a good college in terms of education, placements, campus, sports, and other facilities.
Placements: Very good placements, and top companies came for recruitment this year. Top roles offered include system engineer, design engineer, maintenance engineer, and product engineer. Leading companies like Godrej, Bosch, Dassault Systems, WNS Global, and Electromech participated in the recruitment.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with good Wi-Fi and projector screens. The library is well-stocked with engineering books and others. Labs are well-equipped with advanced machines for practical work. The food in the canteen is very hygienic and of good quality, and we also have good medical facilities, along with courts for every sport.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good, knowledgeable, and highly qualified, providing from basic to detailed knowledge about each topic. They also help students who are struggling academically by conducting activities that aid in studying. Exams are tough, but the quality of teaching is high, so there’s no need for extra coaching, and the passing percentage is good, around 80%.
Other: My dream was to study engineering in mechanical because learning in detail about robotics, automation, and cars is very important to me. I have always chosen this path. We have events in our college, and the annual fest lasts 15-20 days, including sports competitions, and scholarships are provided.

Good college, infrastructure, and campus life.
Placements: My course is mechanical engineering and my passing out batch is in 2026. In this year 2024, as of now, placements have started, and 10% of students have been placed in my course. As of now, the date is September 9, and process is ongoing. The highest placement up until now has been 8 LPA, the lowest which company offered was 2 LPA, and average in my branch generally goes around 5 LPA. Top recruiters in my branch are Bosch, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Uno Mind, Worli, and Dassault System. And most roles are of graduate trainee engineer; around all the students get internship in my course and some go for off-campus internships. General roles in my course is of design and quality check.
Infrastructure: Many facilities, such as ground, water cooler, sitting area, cafeteria, canteens, Wi-Fi in every department, labs are well-equipped, and the library is full of books. The hostel's food quality is okay; you can have it; there are multiple mess areas outside where you can have food; and also, the college and hostel have sports either on the college grounds or on other grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but we have to study on our own for exams, and faculty members are well qualified; most are Ph.D. holders, and the way they teach is okay, but most importantly, they do help you when you have some doubts about them. For my course, I feel the curriculum is outdated and industries require more automation, and we will head towards automation, but the curriculum is typically old.
Other: I chose this course because I was always curious to know about machines and their working and operations. I would try to improve the curriculum as it is outdated. There are many festivals going on around college, and we tend to have a large crowd of our own college participating in campus festivals. For connectivity, there is a train available near the college Akurdi station. And scholarships are also provided through the Mahadbt website. There are multiple clubs for extracurricular activities.

It is a dream college. This is because of the huge campus we are blessed with.
Placements: Placements at DYPCOE Akurdi College are great and very skilled. This gives students a high chance of securing a better job in the future. In a mechanical course, the average package is 4 LPA. The highest package is around 40 LPA. Around 60% of our department are qualified for internships this year .
Infrastructure: I have lived my first year of engineering in the DYPCOE hostel. The hostel is very neat and clean. Infrastructure is great. The food was very good in taste. Management was very approachable to our needs. We have a total of 4 floors and 11 rooms on each floor. We have been given a study room where we can enjoy our time. WiFi is good in our hostel.
Faculty: Teaching quality is the best of the best. Our teachers are well qualified for our course. Semester exams are conducted monthly; therefore, we were prepared for that exam very thoroughly. We have our insem (midsem) and endsem. We have to give practical exams based on the practicals performed throughout the semester .
Other: The crowd is so great that companies are attracted to it.

Our college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: The salary packages are high for software engineers in the computer science stream. The maximum salary package offered in the mechanical branch was 6 LPA. Internships are also provided by the campus placement team for students. All IT and core companies visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over our college area. Classrooms have projectors. Canteen is also best on the DYP campus. A cafe is available. Sports are also conducted. Classrooms are well-structured. A reading room is also available. There is a digital library.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful to students in other activities. Semester exams are tough. As per the SPPU pattern, the course curriculum is decided by SPPU as it is affiliated with SPPU. It is not an autonomous institute. The teaching quality is good for understanding.
Other: There is the best campus life for students. Events and fests are the best things enjoyable for college memories.

Placements: 65% got placed in good companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Worley etc. The highest package was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5. On the other hand, almost 75% got internships in companies like Dassault Systems, Tata motors etc. Software developer, Sales etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained with e-learning facilities; the library is born with all kinds of books required for technical and non-technical courses. The food offered in the canteen is good with various options to eat from breakfast to lunch etc.
Faculty: The teaching staff is excellent, and you will guide each student properly. Yes, the course is designed concerning industry standards and requirements. Exams are only possible if we study correctly. Rest exams are moderate, with pass 95% of students.
