Yes, online BMC degree is approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC) for many colleges such as Amity University, Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Xavier Institute of Communications, etc.

Well, it's actually not. Though it will grant a title of “Doctor” (Dr.) in a professional capacity, it's not some traditional medical doctor's degree like MBBS. BPT means a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, who specializes in rehabilitation, physical therapy, and pain management without prescribing medicines or performing surgeries.
Once you complete this course and obtain a license from the respective state council, you can use the prefix “Dr.” before your name.
