Yes, you can get direct admission to Delhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (DIET) through the management quota. Though regular admissions are based more on JEE Main scores and UPTAC counseling, the management quota gives students a seat without entrance exam results, but only if they have passed 10+2 with relevant subjects and the required percentage.

The fee structure of courses differs from programme to programme at Delhi Institute of Engineering and Technology, or DIET. For the B.Tech courses, the total fees for all 4 years vary between about 2.45 Lacs and 3.04 lakhs, depending upon the major. The Diploma courses had a total fee of about 90,000. These fees depict the concern of the institute toward making quality education accessible and yet affordable for the students. The fee structure might change and may be different from year to year. So, it would be better to check with the institution for the latest update.

The quality of food at the hostel mess of the Delhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (DIET), Meerut, receives mixed reviews. While some students appreciate the effort to provide hygienic meals, others find the food quality average and feel there is room for improvement. The meals generally cater to basic nutritional needs, but there might be limited variety or issues with taste at times. These aspects may depend on individual preferences and experiences. Overall, the mess service aims to meet the dietary needs of the students while ensuring cleanliness.
