I don't have any idea about IPU.
If your son has 112 marks in JEE having general category, then he might not get any good NITs easily.
He can go for other private colleges.

I don't know much about MAIT, Delhi but in UPES it is good. There are several sub branches for CS. It's up to you which branch you will choose. Placements in UPES is also good. Faculty is also experienced which will give you full support. The highest package offered was around 27 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, VMware, dell, LNT, IBM.

The normal eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Math Honours degree course is a pass degree in 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with at least 50% marks obtained by candidates in Mathematics subject or in aggregate from a recognised board or Institute. Home Science can be included in best four subjects % but they will deduct 2.5%. Or if you opt Bachelor of Science Honours in Home Science then only they will not deduct 2.5%. And every college have different cut off for different course.
