Your cousin seemed to have obtained reasonable marks in 12th. Admission process in DU is online merit based or entrance exam based depending on course sought.

As your rank in IPU CET is 130.
You will get Biotech College in IPU easily, as you are a Delhi candidate.
One of my friend got admission in biotech, whose rank was somewhere between 1600-1800.

As from my knowledge about IPU colleges, I don't think any college of IPU offer automobile engineering.
However, Gb Pant College offer mechanical engineering with specialization in automation.
By automation, it means application of robotics.

IPU is better than University of Pondicherry as it offers good placement.

BCIP, Kalkaji, New Delhi is the best amongst all.

Take the AILET and crack it if you want to do 5-year integrated law in NLU, Delhi.
Otherwise, if you want to do a 3-year LLB thing, Faculty of Law, Delhi is very good.
Even JMI is doing very well.
Other colleges like Symbiosis-Noida, Amity-Noida, etc. are also good in private ones. Jindal is also doing well.
