No, Delhi domicile is not necessary for DTU B.Tech lateral entry.
But here's what you should know:
Important Points:
DTU allows students from all over India to apply for lateral entry into B.Tech (after diploma).
Delhi students get 85% of the seats, and 15% seats are for students from outside Delhi.
So, if you are not from Delhi, you can still apply, but competition may be a bit higher for the 15% seats.
Eligibility:
You must have a 3-year Diploma in engineering
Minimum 60% marks in Diploma (some relaxation for reserved categories).

Candidates should take into account a number of living and educational expenses while pursuing MCh. at ILBS Delhi. Students may still have to pay for books, clinical supplies, test fees, and housing even though the tuition may be less expensive than at many private universities. Candidates should evaluate the return on investment they are getting against their expenses from the institute.
