Hi Tanya,
It would be best if you could be more specific about what kind of career you are looking forward to make. Also, please mention if you wish to pursue higher studies or a job (mention the industry).

Yes, sure you can but you need to talk to the authorities there at the college in which you want to take admission, they might consider if your cut-off lies somewhere near, you must talk prior to the concerned authorities.

Hi,
You should go with that course in which you have more interest. Actuarial Science is based on calculating probabilities of death, the longevity of pensioner, the chance of stock price going up or down, the probability of claim of motor insurance, etc. Everything we do in actuaries is based on probability theories.
Bachelor in Statistics will provide you a very good understanding of probability. Other courses like Economics, Maths, Accounts won't do much harm either, but you will get a lot of understanding of what you study later in Actuarial from Statistics course.

I shall suggest you to appear for entrance exams of reputed institutes like IISER and NISER, do score well in JEE as IITs too offers courses in life sciences if you wish to. Lastly, don't stop after graduation, march ahead for Master's degree. Later, you can enter the pharma sector, research or scientific writing field, etc. Choose a course for which you are ready by heart and not because of others. Each curriculum holds its own benefits and flaws. But it's up to us how to pave our path to have the unstoppable career.
