We at Shiksha.com will bring you student reactions for the NIFT exam. Our representatives will be present at the NIFT 2024 exam centre to do live coverage and provide insights into various aspects of the exam. We will get in touch with students appearing in the NIFT 2026 exam after they have appeared in the entrance exam. The student reactions will cover aspects like difficulty level of the exam, types of questions asked, expected cut-off, etc. Note that the student reactions will be available for all the design courses - M.Des B. As per a number of students, NIFT 2023 exam was easier compared to previous years. CAT paper in particular was pretty easy but it was lengthy. The GAT paper had a few tricky questions in the Maths section, otherwise the paper was easy. The English section was also easier than the last edition. The GAT paper included a number of paragraph-based questions. Also, the exam included comic strip-based questions that were also easy.

The exam analysis of the GAT and CAT papers will be released after conclusion of the written exams.  NIFT exam analysis will covers various aspects like difficulty level, types of questions asked, expected cut-off, etc.

The written exams for NIFT will comprise the CAT and GAT exams. 

NTA released the FINAL answer key of NIFT 2026 on March 23, 2026.

Final key is released after considering complaints filed by candidates against the provisional key. No further objections against the final key are entertained. This means the keys given in the final key is considered correct keys to all the questions asked in the NIFT exam.

The candidate can use the keys given in the final answer key to precisely calculate their expected scores.

Yes, the candidate is allowed to challenge the draft version of the NIFT 2026 answer key.

Objections cannot be filed against the final answer key. The answer key contains the official keys to all the questions asked in the exam.

Objections against the NIFT 2026 answer key have to filed online through the candidate portal. To file objections, the candidate had to pay a fee of INR 200 per objection.

The NIFT 2026 written exam is the 1st stage of the entrance exam and includes the CAT and GAT. The results for the NIFT written exam were announced on March 20, 2026.

Candidates seeking admission to the PG courses at the NIFTs need to appear in a Personal Interview after qualifying the written exam. The slot booking process for the Personal Interview will open soon after results of the NIFT written exams are declared. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the detailed schedule on its admission portal - niftadmissions. In. The slot booking process has to be conducted online. To book a slot, click on the relevant link, log in, and then select the campus and time slot from the available options. Note that slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
