The NID MDes Seat Allotment Round 1 will begin after the declaration of the Final Result. The Final result will be declared at 4 PM on May 06, 2025 and the Seat allotment will begin on the same day.

NID M Des Round 2 Seat Allotment will take place after Round 1 Seat Allotment. If seats remain vacant, Round-02 allotments will be communicated to the next eligible candidates via email, based on their merit order within the respective category.

The final results for M.Des admissions will be announced on May 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The result will be declared on the official website and students can use thier email address and date of birth to view the result.

The difficulty and competitiveness of Interior Design entrance exams vary mainly depending on the education and exam body, though generally, Interior Design exams are considered competitive, especially for top-ranked colleges and universities like NIFTs and NIDs. Candidates who have passed a four-year Science / Architecture / Engineering / Design graduation from UGC-approved institution or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for Reserved Class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) are eligible to apply for School of Design, MIT WPU MDes programme. Yes, MIT WPU conducts a computer based test to select candidates for admission to BDes programme. The test is conducted in online mode for 120 minutes. The test includes below sections:
