No, the BDes program's admission requirements are entrance-based. Admission to the NIFT Shillong BDes programme is determined by an applicant's performance on the NIFT Entrance Exam. Candidates who make the short list based on their exam results are invited to a round of in-person interviews, which is followed by counseling. There is no provision of direct admission to the courses at NIFT Shillong.

To register for the admission test, applicants for NIFT Shillong must go to the institutes official website. Candidates' performance in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance test, which consists of the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT), determines their admission to the NIFT Delhi BDes programme. A BDes in Textile Design is a 4-year-long professional UG-level programme in the Design field, whereas a BSc in Textile Design is a 3-year-long regular UG degree course, and a Diploma in Textile Design is a short-term course and can be pursued either at UG or PG level.
The difference between them is that the BDes is a highly recommended, in-demand course in the Design field with an in-depth knowledge of both the creative and practical parts of Textile Design. Meanwhile, a Diploma will provide detailed knowledge in a specific area, and a BSc is more inclined towards the technical aspect of the field.
All the programs are good, it depends
