The NIFT Patna MFM application fee depends on the reservation category of applicants. The fee has to be paid through online payment gateway on the NIFT admission portal. Check out the following table for the category-wise application fee:

No, there is no provision for direct admission to the MFM programme of NIFT Patna. The admission is based on the applicants' performance in the NIFT entrance exam. Based on the NIFT entrance exam results, the institute shortlists candidates for the next selection round, i.e. personal interview. The entrance exam carries 70% weightage in the selection process. Hence, aspirants must appear for the NIFT entrance exam to secure MFM admission at NIFT Patna.

NIFT Patna MFM application process is typically conducted between November and June. For MFM admissions 2025, the registration process started on Nov 22, 2024. The last date to register online was Jan 6, 2025. Candidates who missed the deadline could apply with an additional late fee of INR 5,000 till Jan 9, 2025.

NIFT Patna MFM admissions are provided through the common admission process conducted by NIFT. For MFM admissions, NIFT conducts an entrance exam comprising two sections (A & B) of the General Ability Test (GAT). Aspirants must ensure that they clear they secure the cut-off rank required to get admitted to the MFM course of NIFT Patna. They can apply for the exam by filling out the common application form available on the official NIFT website.

No, Group Discussions or Personal Interview rounds are not mandatory in the BDes in Interior Design admission process. Fulfilling the eligibility criteria and obtaining a good rank in the entrance exam is the only step you need to clear to be eligible for the BDes in Interior Design admission.

No, having a portfolio is not mandatory in the BDes in Interior Design admission process. Portfolios are generally required at the time of higher programme admissions. A portfolio contains a sample of your work like sketches, drawings, photographs of finished projects, work experience, recognitions, etc.

Hi, there are no mandatory skills you should learn to be eligible for a BDes Interior Designing course, however, some basic skills are essential to have while opting for a creative programme like Interior Design. For instance, a creative approach, good observational skills, artistic visualization, sketching ability, time management, etc., will help you learn better and grow in your field.

The eligibility criteria for a B Des in Interior Design from NIFT include:
- The age of the candidate should be less than 24 years as of August 1, 2025.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years is only applicable for reserved categories such as SC, ST, and PwD.
- The academic eligibility requires candidates to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

The major difference between BDes Interior Design and BSc Interior Design is that BSc is focused on the technical and scientific elements of Interior Design. It usually works for its mathematical and engineering principles. Meanwhile, BDes focused on the specialisation's artistic and creative side.
So, it depends on your interests and career choices, whether you want to go for BDes in Interior Design or BSc in Interior Design.
