The cutoff rank for B.Des (Fashion Design) at NIFT Delhi in 2024 was 577 for the OBC category1. Cutoffs for general category students on various schools often range between 450 and 550.

To get into B.Des in NIFT Kangra, the eligibility criteria must be qualified by stating that "the candidate must have passed 10+2 of any stream Science/Commerce/Arts from a recognized board of respective state. The upper age limit is 23 years, but SC/ST/PwD candidates are provided with an age relaxation of up to 5 years." And admission will be taken based on scores obtained in the NIFT entrance exam. Any candidate who wants to enroll in the MFM course of NIFT, Kangra must be an undergraduate degree holder in any discipline from any recognized Institute or University in India. Two critical components of the selection process are General Ability Test (GAT) and Personal Interview (PI). To study BDes at IIT Bombay, candidate must appear in the UCEED and attain the require the neccessary rank. IIT Bombay BDes Cutoff 2025 among the General AI category candidates was 14, in the first round. In 2024 also, the cutoff rank for admission to BDes at IIT Bombay was 14

Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff rank was closed at 13. The cutoff rank for the OBC AI category candidates was 16 in 2024.

Yes, the Banasthali Vidyapith BDes programme is open for admission to NRI candidates. However, the university provides only a limited number of seats for foreign/NRI-sponsored candidates. The eligibility criteria for the aforementioned candidates differ from others. NRI candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. Moreover, such candidates must provide the following documents:

  • Original certificates/marksheets of the qualifying examination.

Yes, all the programmes at Banasthali Vidyapith, including BDes, are only open for female candidates to join. This university is one of the five higher education institutes in India meant only for women. Moreover, as per the official website, the university offers admission to women irrespective of their race, religion, caste, colour, or domicile. Other than this, many verified reviews on Shiksha suggest that the campus is safe for women in terms of security. Outsiders can't enter the campus unchecked, and guards and CCTV cameras are present everywhere.
