Yes, an entrance exam is required for the BDes programme offered at AAFT. Candidates have to appear fro the AAFT Global Entrance Exam (AAFT GEE), which is an integral part of selection. This test also has objective-type questions to give an opportunity to gauge the ability of applicants. However, candidates who clear this AAFT GEE get an invitation for a personal interview, which determines their potential to get enrolled in the programme.

Admission to Hue N Rig Institute of Art and Design is pretty easy but varies with the course and your eligibility. On an average basis, the institute assesses a student with merit in academics, portfolio submissions, and some personal interviews or entrance exams for BFA, MFA, and even design courses. So, it is relatively easier for students with quality portfolios and academic backgrounds to get admitted. However, to be safe, it would be desirable to check the admission requirements of the chosen program one is interested in and also look through any entrance exams or interviews that may be required as well as eligibility.

IIT Guwahati accepts the CEED exam for admission to the MDes course.
IIT Guwahati MDes cutoff 2024 is based on CEED scores 2024 followed by the round-wise CEED Counselling. IIT Guwahati CEED cutoff 2024 is out for Part A. IIT Roorkee accepts UCEED exam scores for admission to BDes courses at IIT Roorkee. The cutoff for BDes is released category-wise throughout different rounds. The last-round closing rank for BDes at IIT Roorkee, for the General AI category candidates was closed at 110. For the OBC AI candidates, the last-round closing rank for BDes admission was closed at 65.
