BArch and BDes are both great options and are different mostly in terms of their overall focus. While BArch is all about architecture- designing buildings, planning spaces, and working on construction projects, a BDes course will focus on the more creative side of design. It covers a wide range of design fields, such as graphic design, product design, fashion design, and more.
So, whether you're more inclined towards architecture or design, both options offer exciting opportunities. Choosing a course will depend on your interest, aptitude, and aspiration.

Life is all about making choices, and this is a tricky one. You have a B.Com degree, plus a 1-year ITI course in dress-making. That means you already have strong basics in commerce, and at the same time, you have an interest in fashion designing.

As a new graduate in the Interior Design field, you can either opt for an internship opportunity to gain expertise under a Senior or go for entry-level jobs such as Associate Designer, Interior Design Executive, Associate Consultant, Assistant Professor, etc. However, getting internship opportunities in big companies is relatively easier than getting a job if you're a fresher.

The main entrance exams for Interior Design course admission such as NIFT Entrance, NID Entrance, Common Entrance Examination for Design, FDDI All India Selection Test (FDDI AIST), Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), etc., are conducted on center-based mode. However, UCEED test is a computer-based entrance you can opt for.
