No, passing Class 12 from the Science stream is not mandatory to be eligible for BSc Interior Designing program. BSc in Interior Design programme covers technical and scientific elements related to Interior Design such as lighting, sustainable practices, etc. However, you can pursue BSc Interior Design regardless of the stream you had in Class 12.

Hi, some of the basic differences between a BSc and BDes in Fashion Design is, first the course focus. A BSc programme is more focused on the technical and scientific elements of fashion production, such as its fabric properties and manufacturing processes. Meanwhile BDes is focused on the artistic and creative side of the Design.

Therefore, their course curriculum and syllabus also differs. In a BSc Fashion Design, you'll find more technical subjects, including  fashion theories, fashion psychology, and sociological choice of clothing. Meanwhile, in a BDes programme you'll find subjects like illustration, pattern making, draping,

...more

Hi, BDes in Fashion Design can be expensive if you want to pursue it from top colleges like NIFTs, NIDs, Symbiosis, FDDIs, Amity University, etc. However, many Fashion Design colleges in India offer BDes courses in an affordable fee range such as Visva Bharati University, IEC University, International School of Design, JD School of Design, etc. You can research thoroughly about these colleges and then decide which institute you want to opt for.

Comparing the past three-years' NIFT Patna MFM cut-off for General (All-India) category candidates, a declining trend can be noticed. This implies that getting admission at NIFT Patna became relatively easier over the past three years.

Candidates can refer to the following table presenting the MFM cut-off trend at NIFT Patna:

NIFT Patna accepts NIFT entrance exam scores for admission to the MFM course. The cut-off rank required for MFM admissions in 2024 for Round 5 was 646 for the General All-India-category candidates. Considering the NIFT Patna MFM cutoff 2024, candidates must aim to secure a better rank than #646 to secure admission to the MFM course.

Industrial Systems Design deals with the real-world industrial design scenarios. You can find yourself doing year-long projects analyzing, for example, systems of an ice cream truck, how the product is stored, how much of it goes to waste, how the deliveries are transported, who decides the price, order quantity, and so much more. Many universities also give actual projects from big companies so you gain real experience with real-life problems and solutions. The subject is of utmost importance for students willing to become an industrial engineer in the near future.
