Classes for NMIMS DAT new admission season will commence in July 2026. Candidates who have been selected for admission in the merit lists and paid the admission fees can join classes.

The SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University  offers a B. Des. (Humanising Technology at its School of Design (Mumbai Campus). Admission to the programme is based on merit of the NMIMS DAT exam.

Interested candidate need to fill out the NMIMS DAT application form. The application link will be given on this page. Note that only such candidate who qualify in the exam and meet the prescribed criteria will be considered for admission.

Candidates who have completed their 10+2 level or equivalent exams like AISSCE/ IB/ ICSE/ State Board etc. (in relevant stream) are eligible to apply for undergraduate degree programmes.

The eligibility criteria for WUD Aptitude Test is prescribed by the World University of Design. If the candidate doesn't meet the prescribed criteria, he or she may not be considered for admission.

NIFT Hyderabad has not released the placement report for the year 2023. However, as per the annual report 2022, upto 10 top-notch companies visited/students placed during the online campus placement drive. According to the Shiksha review, the highest package offered to BDes in Fashion Design and BDes Accessory Design was INR 6 LPA and INR 20 LPA during the recent placement drive, respectively. 

Average package for B. ftech and M. ftech goes around 4–4.5 Lpa.

IILM University Gurugram offers a 4 years programme in Interior Design. The eligibility criteria for the programme is candidate must have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University; securing minimum of 50% marks.

The course begins with foundation studies where students are introduced to the basic principles of design fundamentals. From the second year on, students dive into core courses in their choice of specialization. Practical and theoretical courses will help develop creativity, research, and critical reasoning skills alongside university electives that will broaden perspectives.

B.F.Tech. in Apparel Production at NIFT Hyderabad is a 4 years course at the UG level. The course offers admission to 43 students. The total tuition fee for NIFT Hyderabad B.F.Tech. in Apparel Production is INR 12.34 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of amount INR 27,200 and a hostel fee of amount INR 1.00 Lakh that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee.

The total tuition fee for a B.Des in Product Design at MIT Alandi is INR 4.94 lakh. The average fees for MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE) is INR 214,301 per year.
