Yes, BDes is a globally recognised degree. It is available in many countries such as Australia, Canada, the UK, the USA, New Zealand and UAE. These courses are mostly available in full-time or regular mode only. Many colleges have accommodation facilities and provision for scholarships.

When you join a BDes programme, you learn about the fundamental concepts of Design in the first year. You would not be expected to have any previous knowledge or background in the field of Design. In many colleges the first semester is common for all BDes specialisations.
