You can. Textile design teaches you the fundamentals of designing materials, patterns and prints. You can use this knowledge in fashion designing. Many people who are now fashion designers started their careers as textile designers . You should note that becoming a successful fashion designer often necessitates a combination of education, experience, and a distinct fashion perspective. Students who meet the required eligibility should pursue the Textile Design course. People who are good at drawing, and keep a keen eye on fashion trends and come up with new ideas are best suited for this programme. Candidates who are creative, perceptive, and have an eye for detail should consider taking design classes.

Students can choose a course and specialism based on their qualifications and areas of interest. Students can pursue this course after class 12 and pursue MDes and other courses for further specialisation.
