National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute established in 2008. It offers B.Des under four specializations they are-:
B.Des. (Fashion Design)
B.Des. (Textile Design)
B.Des. (Knitwear Design)
B.Des. (Fashion Communication)
The Basic Eligibility Criteria - 12th Pass. The candidate must have cleared 10+2 examination of any recognised board or he/she must have secured a passing grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
And basic Admission Criteria is the NIFT Entrance test.

No, candidates cannot take any electronic gadgets inside the CEED exam hall. Here is a list of items that the candidate must not bring to the exam hall.
Mobile phones
Calculators
Smart or digital watches, etc.
Any candidate found in possession of these items will be disqualified.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi admits students to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses based on their NIFT entrance exam scores. As per the NIFT Delhi cutoff 2025, the Round 1 closing rank for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme ranged between 54 and 800 for the students belonging to the General All India category. Among all the specialisations, B.Des. in Fashion Communication was the most competitive, with the lowest cutoff rank of 54. For other specialisations, the NIFT Round 1 closing ranks are tabulated below:

MIT Institute of Design Admission Dates for 2024 is not out at the moment, but admission is open for the BDes, MDes, PhD and PGP courses. Candidates are required to visit the official website to register themselves and apply for the MIT DAT entrance test. As admission to BDes and MDes is entirely based on the MIT DAT exams.
