The fee for the BDes course at MIT Institute of Design is around INR 12,6 lakh. For MIT Institute of Design BDes course admissions, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria and clear the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 from recognised board. The selection process includes MIT DAT + Studio Test + PI.

The courses include BDes, MDes, a 2-year Diploma course in Automotive Clay & Digital Sculpting, and a 1-Year Post-Graduate Diploma Innovation Programme. The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata accepts NIFT Entrance Exam for admission to the B.Des course. As per NIFT Kolkata cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for B.Des was 632 for the General All India category student. For 2022 and 2021, NIFT Kolkata last round closing ranks stood at 649 and 615, respectively for the B.Des programme.
