UI design stands for User Interface design, which is the visual or graphical side of design. Some UX designers will also do some UI, but other UX designers will only go as far as research and wire frames. Yes, it is possible. Choose any course in bachelor related to design. Before applying in any college, check the eligibility for that course.

Offcourse, it will help you. Design and engineering go hand in hand. Design is done based on need and need is solved by engineering. In a simple way, engineering solves the problem and design is the solution. If possible, do B.Tech in India for automobile engineering and then go to foreign countries like Germany for a master in design in the automobile.

It will depend on the schools' requirements where you intend to go to. You may need to do architecture first to do a Masters. It won't help that much to do industrial design, but if you want to architectural projects then it could be useful.

Speaking of courses, I would suggest fashion design, fashion styling or textile design due to lots of demand. Fashion design covers all different sections and has lots of flexibility in career, where you could be an illustrator, stylist, designer, visual merchandiser and many more.
