Yes it's not too difficult to find part-time work while attending Dickinson College. Numerous on-campus employment possibilities are offered by the university through institutional and federal work-study programs. Students can work in a variety of jobs including research positions, library assistants and food services. Working on the Dickinson College Farm, which gives students practical experience in sustainable agriculture is one of the college's special opportunities.

Throughout the academic year students are permitted to work up to eighteen hours per week which helps them successfully manage their time between employment and study.

Living on campus is better than staying off campus. Students living in college residences will increase their cognitive, interpersonal, and intrapersonal development and complexity. They have easy access to college resources. The college has several residence halls. Students can choose from these halls depending on their requirements. Gender-inclusive residence halls are also available. The estimated cost of on-campus housing and meals is $8,800 and $8,300, respectively, for an academic year.

Dickinson College offers merit scholarships to international students. No separate application is required to avail merit scholarships. Merit scholarships range from $15,000 to $35,000 per year. Scholarships are awarded for eight semesters of study. Students have to maintain the scholarship with good academic standing. 

Presidential Scholarships are also offered to international students. This required separate applications. Recipients are top students in a challenging high school curriculum who have demonstrated high levels of engagement in their communities.
