Hello Rezaullah, I am afraid, there is no legal way that you can obtain degree of engineering via distance education mode. However what is legally possible is that you obtain certification of AMIE. This is treated as equivalent to degree in engineering for all practical purposes.

Hello,
Keep your will to study and gain more knowledge. If you want to do graduation in engineering but not regular then AMIE ("Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers") is a good option for you.

What is AMIE?
Full form of AMIE is "Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers". AMIE is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work and Section B examination of the Institution. Hello Mukesh, The SC of India has declared engineering via distance education as illegal and hence I would strongly advise you that do not even think of doing engineering in this fashion.

Hello Gursimran, Yes, one can definitely do any course after B.Tech via distance mode. I would advise you to download the brochure cum application form of IGNOU. There you will find plenty of courses that you can do.

Hello Vikash,No, as far as my information goes, the degree in engineering offered by this university is not recognised by AICTE.

Distance B.Tech in civil engineering is not good for your career in future because from distance you can't learn design subject without any guidance so it's better to join regular or part time B.Tech.

You can fill DTU and Jamia's form. But you have to attend 2 classes in a week but it would be better to do regular B.Tech.
