Thiruvalluvar University is an affiliating University and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (A.I.U). The distance education, also known as the TIDE, Thiruvalluvar University of Distance Education offers course with a reasonable fee for the candidates. Also students undergoing regular courses in colleges will be permitted to join another UG/PG course through distance education. The examination is an annual pattern (non-semester) conducted twice a year with a hassel free admission process. Yes, TIDE is worth doing for candidates who wants to pursue a degree with low minimum fee.
