You can opt for correspondence course but not online Diploma in mechanical engineering because after the Supreme Court's order, professional courses like engineering doctorate, any science course is not a subject of distance or online-based education.

Can one pursue BMS course from Mumbai university through correspondence? Is there any distance learning programme in BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) affiliated to Mumbai university? Well, it seems there is no such course right now. Mumbai University doesn't provide any correspondence course for doing BMS.

Yes, you can pursue, but not via distance mode. You have to do it in a regular mode because as per government rules, any pro course is not a subject of distance education.

Hello Evangel, These days many Universities are offering distance education. However the best I found is IGNOU. It has plenty to offer, course content is the best and enough time for submission of assignments. Go for this.

I guess you are asking what is better?
Well according to me, regular learning is far better than distance because you actually get to learn your subjects but whereas in distance learning, there is very less scope of actual learning and so I prefer regular learning. But this is just my opinion. It could vary from person to person.
