There are no such strict age criteria for pursuing BTech in correspondence mode in India. But, taking into consideration the previous admission trends in distance BTech courses, students are usually between 17 years and 25 years of age at the time of taking admission.
Some universities may have certain age requirements for admission, it is not very common though. If you are a bright student with a good academic record and have successfully secured at least 50% marks in Class 12 board exams, you can apply for distance BTech degree courses.

There is usually no upper age limit to apply for Distance B. Ed programme. Generally the distance B.Ed course provided by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Nalanda Open University (NOU) , Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, etc. provide this course to people of any age group they just need to have a Bachelors degree in any stream from a recognised university.
