The M.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition is mostly a full-time and a residential course at Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women. Although they are involving in some of the online learning programs such as SWAYAM, according to their official listing programs, M.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition is a full-time, regular, two-year program. There is thus no dedicated correspondence or distance learning alternative to this particular M.Sc that is normally offered.

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Tamil Nadu distance education admission through online. The university offers admission based on the following categories:
