Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) are both management courses at Masters level. Both the courses have a commercial orientation and it's difficult to differentiate between the two. MBA and PGDM are both business orientated courses.The main aim of the courses is to equip a person who wants to move up in the hierarchy and enter in to the management field, says Shiksha expert Nikhilesh Mathur. Since you are MCA, keeping in mind your area of work, you can decide the specialisation of MBA. In case you are employed, then you can also explore Executive MBA.

Since you are employed. I would suggest you go in for an executive MBA from any of the top 20 MBA institutes. Executive MBAs are of shorter duration and also the curriculum is more relevant to the industry. You need to try and seek specialisation in a subject which is closer to your area of work.

Yes, Xavier's is one top institution for MBA studies. All the courses are accredited by UGC and for distance it is approved by DDE (Directorate of Distance Education). It will fetch you job until these boards are recognizing your certifications. Dual Specialization is the best way to hold interest in two different fields in one course.
