To join Division of Mechanical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science candidates must apply online through the official website of Indian Institute of Science IISc also they must meet the eligibility criteria and selection process that is they must have a bachelor's degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Most importantly they need to qualify and score good in entrance exam Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE which is primary aspect of the admission process.

Yes, Division of Mechanical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science offers various scholarships to the deserving students who performs well in academis and in sports.
