Educational Eligibility for TGT Social Science in DSSSB:
Nationality: All Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the DSSSB TGT and SST exams. Age Limit: Must be younger than 32 years of age. Educational Qualifications: The students must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from any recognised university with at least 45 percent aggregate marks in 2 school subjects, of which at least one out of the following should have been at the elective level: English math, natural or physical Science, and social Science. Note: The main subjects for (I) TGT (Natural Science or Physical Science) shall be Chemistry Biology Physics Botany, and Zoology. (ii) Social Science: History, Political Science, Economics, Business Studies, Sociology, Geography, and Psychology. Furthermore, the requirement of a minimum of 45 percent in aggregate at the UG level shall be relaxed in the case of (a) Students who pass a PG qualification in any of the teaching subjects listed above. (b) Belonging to the SC or ST category (c) PWD candidates students with a degree or Diploma in teaching are eligible. Knowledge of Hindi is mandatory. The candidate must have cleared the CTET exam from CBSE. Note: The students should have studied the subject concerned, as mentioned in the RRs, for at least two years during the graduation course.

DSSSB JE job profile:

3- Reports on Construction Projects: JEs must keep track of the workings and progress of a construction project that is currently underway. They have day-to-day timelines and formulate project reports. They have to prepare budgeted estimates, drawings, and project schedules and must track that these are followed without fail. JEs must deal with delays, accidents, or natural disasters that occur on the job site and must report the details to the supervisor regularly. They must submit delivery reports and project specifications to the government or funding bodies when working on public projects or infrastructure.
4- Provide Technical Support: The most crucial role of a JE is to provide technical support to their team during construction work. They have to collaborate with their teams, provide direct or indirect support, and handle tasks efficiently. As a result, JE works strictly under the supervision of the supervising engineer.
5- Management of Team Members: The complete team must work efficiently together on site. The team of a JE comprises technicians, contractors, and other supervising engineers, or JEs complete projects on time. As a result, the coordination and collaboration among them must be finessed. The JEs make sure that their team is working according to the rules and guidelines set by the authorities. They keep their senior engineer informed about the issue related to the team and resolve them as soon as they can.
