No, it is not possible to get admission in DTU with this score, especially if you are an outsider. They have only 15 % reserve seats. So you should improve your marks if you want to get admission there otherwise you can go for NITS.

Yes, you can get BTech thorough Lateral Entry in CSE. Many colleges do offer lateral Entry and many colleges don't. Just research into which college you would like to go and get admitted and accordingly fill out their form. Some also conduct entrance exam and some colleges take direct admission. The college offers fee concession every year of about 50% to the needy students and even 100% to some who cannot afford the fees. It requires form filling and attending the interview. Otherwise, with government aid, you can avail interest-free student loans which the student will pay once placed. Otherwise, there are numerous scholarships programs run by the central government under national scholarship portal (NSP) and by Delhi government also called the merit-cum-means giving 100% to students with ration card and income below 1 Lacs per annum, 50% to students with family income below 2.5 Lacs.

Hi Brianil, as you have completed your Diploma in automobile engineering, so you are eligible to take admission in B.Tech. Yes, you are eligible for DTU lateral entry course. Just prepare for the entrance exam. You will get admission in automobile engineering.

You should be in top 5 thousand rank for getting admission in dtu and nsit if you belong from outside delhi.
It means you have to score more than 240 marks.

yes Delhi Technical University has B.Tech electronics and communication branch available. You can take admission to the same via the entrance exam. Also, this is the best college and famous for its good placement records. Best of luck.
