If candidates have identical Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Main) - 2026 Paper-I even after applying NTA's tie-breaking measures, the following order of additional tie-breaking criteria shall be adopted for seat allocation in JAC Delhi:
1. Date of Birth (preference to the elder candidate).
2. Random draw process in case the tie still persists.
DTU offer seats in BTech under JAC counselling.

Yes, DTU has the below mentioned seat reservation policy at DTU. The college has 85% seats in all the participating institutions are earmarked for Resident Indian Nationals belonging to Delhi region (as specified below). The rest 15% seats are earmarked for Resident Indian Nationals belonging to outside Delhi region.

With 98.28 percentile in JEE first attempt, you can get admission branches, such as ECE, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in DTU, NSUT, IITD, and NIT Delhi. Top branches, such as CSE are difficult to get in these top universities and institutes. The cutoff also depends on the student's category. - Branch Priority: If you are passionate about coding and software development, choosing CSE at JIIT is generally recommended over a non-tech branch (like Civil or Environmental) at Delhi Technological University (DTU) or Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).

The drop out rate at DTU keeps on changing. Right now it is not very high but there are various reforms that DTU is bringing which may or may not be liked by students. Overall, it is one of the top universities where students secure good placement opportunities.
