With a CRL rank of 174256 and an EWS rank of 25,000, getting admission into DTU (Delhi Technological University) for B.Tech in CSE or core branches is very unlikely — even under the EWS quota.

With an EWS rank of 22,000 in JEE Mains, you have an excellent chance to get Mechanical Engineering at each DTU and NSUT, specially if you are from Delhi.
Last year, college students with even better EWS ranks got admission in later rounds. So, participate in all rounds of JAC Delhi counselling for higher chances.

B.Tech CSE at DTU is very competitive, with General category receiving the most competition. In this case, General Category - Outside Delhi candidates can hardly afford to rejoice at a rank below 70000 within CSE 2017 as closing ranks do not even go beyond 10000 (and in most cases much below). But, in case you are under the Delhi Region ( Home State Quota ) and fell under a reserved category ( OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS ), ranks below 70,000 could provide an opportunity to CSE or similar stream such as IT, Software Engineering, or Mathematics and Computing as cutoffs of these three categories can go even much higher. With a CRL of 6 Lacs and OBC rank of 2.5 lakh, it's honestly quite tough to get Biotech or Environmental at DTU. Cutoffs are usually much lower, even for OBC. You might have better chances in spot rounds or try other state colleges.

You are eligible for B.Tech admission in 2025 at NSUT, DTU, and IIIT Bangalore, as they require a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM, which you meet. However, IIIT Hyderabad and BIT Mesra require at least 75% aggregate in Class 12, so you are not eligible there. Admissions to these colleges are based on your JEE Main rank, and since you are a JEE dropper with 72.2% overall and over 60% in PCM, focus on applying through JAC Delhi counseling for NSUT, DTU, and IIIT Bangalore.
