Well, as per the National Education Policy (NEP), you can take up PhD research in two subject areas following an interdisciplinary approach. But this idea has its own potential downsides that you must consider. There would be increasing work pressure, as dual specialisation at the doctorate level requires extensive research and time to invest, making it difficult to balance the two research areas.

This is quite subjective and depends on the individual pursuing the course. From a neutral point of view, the integrated BTech Civil Engineering + M.Tech Environmental Engineering can be an excellent option for students to take up after completing Class 12, as it allows you to have a dual degree in 5 years, saving your time and money. I don't know about the placement scenarios for PhD from TIFR Bombay, but for IIT Kharagpur, pursuing PhD can be a very good choice, as IIT Kharagpur has Top Research facilities. if you want to do research, you will get the best resources of the country, and also many PhD students get placed during the Campus placement cycle, so there are various Job opportunities. And, a PhD from IIT KGP is flexible than any other institute.

No, integrated MCA is not taken with B.Sc Computer Science.
Integrated MCA is a 5-year single course combining BCA and MCA, not B.Sc.
If you do B.Sc Computer Science, you can apply for a regular 2-year MCA afterward.
So, integrated MCA and B.Sc are two different paths.
