Yes, it is possible to study more than one specialisation in the BA in Mass Communication course. In many colleges, the BA in Mass Communication serves as a base course that offers foundational knowledge about every domain to help you decide which area of study excites you and where you wish to pursue a career. And then according to your area of interest, you can pursue a PG or PG Diploma course in that specific field.

No, EIILM Kolkata does not provide direct admission. Admission to all the courses is on merit, entrance exam marks, and performance in the selection process consisting of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). For UG courses such as BBA and BCA, the candidates have to appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) held by MAKAUT. For MBA, valid scores in tests such as MAT, CAT, ATMA, or VUMAT are necessary. PhD admissions are as per UGC norms.

For a quick entry a 1 year Diploma is great for practical skills but a 5 year integrated degree offers deeper theory and better long term leadership roles.
A Diploma degree is shorter in duration but a full UG degree takes more time to be completed.
If you want quick job then you should do Diploma but if you want more deep understanding in the field then start with UG degree.

Talking about the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) ranking, a rank of 1400 is good and should reasonably ensure your chances of getting Category 3 admission to the Integrated M.Tech course at VIT Chennai.
For best and the latest information, visit through the official VIT admissions website or contact the admission office directly.
Hope this Helps!
