Pursue it separately. Management courses must be pursued in specialized business schools. The best 100 schools must be your target.

If you are getting good NIT then you should go for that. Dual degree is also good option but doing B.Tech from NIT is far better than that.

B.Tech there is Jee mains entrance exam for master degree there is no such requirement.
You can take admission in VIT Vellore on Merit Basis.
