Admission to BITS Pilani Dubai Campus is mainly done on merit in the qualifying examination (12 th grade marks ) and on the basis of seat availability. The Indian campuses of BITS Pilani also consider competitive BITSAT scores among the Indian students. But in the case of BITS Pilani Dubai, they mention BITSAT as one of the criteria to be eligible to apply scholarships though your major area to apply in a first degree course is via direct application depending on your Class XII performance. They make no special entrance exam to go to any undergraduate course through direct entry in the Dubai campus.

The standard of education in Dubai is high, and the city is very safe for students to study and live. Dubai offers a vibrant social life where there is a lot of cultural diversity. Apart from this, there are a number of malls and restaurants for students. As a matter of fact, English is widely spoken here, which makes things easy for international students.

This depends on the university you are applying for. If the university has mandated giving IELTS score, then you need to appear for the examination, and give your test score. The minimum IELTS score varies from 5.5 to 7. IELTS is commonly accepted English language proficiency test accepted globally. But universities give you several alternatives to IELTS to study in Dubai. Hence, look for the university that fits you best, and does not require an IELTS score to process your application. Some universities also have their own interview, or assessment to judge your English proficiency.

Yes, international students can continue to work in their part time job after course completion. However, they need to have post study work visa which allows them to remain in Dubai and gain relevant experience for a prescribed period. International students usually get two years period to find work in Dubai post their studies. When they find employment in Dubai, they can apply for a work permit to continue working in Dubai.
