To achieve merit-based scholarship at De Montfort University Dubai, an undergraduate applicant must have high scores in their previous academic qualification. For Indian students, these scholarships are based on the CBSE or equivalent board scores in Grades XI and XII. While there might be no requirement for entrance exam at DMU Dubai, but some courses require additional proofs. Most of the programs at DMU Dubai require English language proficiency test, academic qualifications, and criteria related to specific programs. Under the admissions process, the applicants of De Montfort University Dubai must have the following documents:
- Complete Application Form
- Attested copy of high school or bachelor's certificate
- Passport Copy
- Student Visa Documents
- Medical Insurance Proof
- Receipt of Application Fee Payment
- English Language Proficiency Test Certificate

De Montfort University Dubai charges for accommodation, visa processing fees, and student services fees. Regarding the accommodation, DMU Dubai offers on-campus and outside campus accommodation facilities. These accommodations offer housekeeping, furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, and gym services. There are male and female accommodations which are separate. The student need to apply for Student Residence Visa, and the university offers a 12-month visa which is renewable with proper proof of continuing of studies.
