As per many unofficial sources, the American University in Dubai has been called moderately selective with an acceptance rate between 60 to 65%

The university focuses on the academic potential of an individual and the factors like the high school GPA, English language proficiency and standardized tests are considered.

Indian students have to meet some admission requirements to be able to get into American University Dubai. Given below are those requirements, take a look - 

  • An online application
  • A high school diploma
  • Official transcripts 
  • A valid IELTS with min score of 6.0+ or the TOEFL score
  • A copy of passport 
  • A GPA of 3.2 to 3.8 
  • And possibly a SAT or ACT score

BITSAT is not required for admission to BITS Dubai. Indian students can apply for BITS Dubai by filling out the online application form. An application fee of AED 220 (INR 5,400) have to be paid. Documents that have to be submitted along with the application of BITS Dubai are the marksheets of the qualifying exam, passport copt, Class 10 mark sheet, TOEFL or IELTS score report, etc.

BE (Hons.) in Computer Science course at BITS Dubai is a 4-year long course. The annual tuition fee for this course is INR 13.08 lakh. Indian students who want to take admission to this course of BITS Dubai must have passed Class 12 with minimum 60%.

  • Referral and transport support to nearby hospitals when needed.

  • The campus also coordinates counseling services focussing on overall health and wellbeing (mental health support).

Indian students can apply for the BITS Pilani scholarships for the year 2026. And for the September 2026 intake, the tentative deadline to apply for the same is Jun 25, 2026.

Also, there is no separate deadline to apply for these scholarships, it automatically happens during the admission process while applying.
