The Duolingo English Test (DET) doesn't provide downloadable question papers. Candidates can take the test from any location with a reliable internet connection because it is made to be accessible remotely. The difficulty level of DET for any student depends on the fluency and knowledge of English language. The adaptive format of Duolingo English Test increases or decreases the difficulty level of exam based on your answer for previous question. According to DET test pattern, the duration is 1 hour which is divided in three different sections like mentioned below:

• Introduction - 5 minutes (You'll be introduced to the test interface and instructions.)
• Adaptive test - 45 minutes (The main section of test)

There is no any specific syllabus for Duolingo English Exam. It is an adaptive test. DET assesses your listening, writing, speaking and reading skills. How much time will it take to prepare for exam depends on your current English proficiency level. To prepare from beginning you need at least 2 months.

You can not attempt DET on your mobile phone or a tablet. Test requires a desktop or laptop computer with a functioning camera and microphone hardware. This is a strict hardware requirement.
