No, to take the Duolingo English Test, you must have a desktop or laptop computer with Windows 7 or greater, or macOS 10.13 or greater. the DET test will not work on a Chromebook, iPad, tablet or any other device. Also, operating systems like ChromeOS or Linux are not suitable for DET test.

Yes, it is mandatory to have a valid passport for appearing in the Duolingo English Test. It is the only and most important document to verify the test taker's identity. Make sure your passport validity should be more than 6 months. During the test setup, you must submit a photo of your passport
