There is no need to book a slot for Duolingo English Test. Students can take test anytime and from anywhere. Test taker must pay exam fee in order to appear for test

The Duolingo English Test fee for Indian students is US $70 (INR 6000 approx). The exam conducting body, recently updated the fees . Earlier, it was USD 65. This is just for one test.
Students can make booking for two DET test at a time to save money. They will be required to pay US $118 (INR 10,196) as Duolingo English Test fee, USD $59 per test. The DET result will be available to download after 48 hours. The result of this examination is valid for two years .

Yes, as part of UHCL application process, Duolingo is accepted as an English proficiency proof. The students are required to score a minimum of 115 to be able to be considerd at the University of Houstan Clear Lake. The alternatice options are also available though, such as IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL.

Once your test has been graded and reviewed by the administrator, you will receive an email. Also, candidates can check their complete test history and results on Duolingo's official website. Test report will contain the overall score.

Preparing in one month is certainly possible. Since DET test is adaptive, focus on practicing all skill types daily and getting used to specific format and timing of questions. Quick preparation works well for this test.

Yes, international students or applicants coming from countries whose first language is not English must prove their English language requirements at George Brown by submitting the scores of Duolingo, IELTS, PTE, and more. The Duolingo requirements along with other English language requirements
