A candidate can apply for the IES and ISS examination if he has got PG in Economics/Applied Economics from a recognised university for the IES exam. He has the Post Graduate Degree in Statistical/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics for the ISS Examination. Candidates appearing for the examination can also apply but their result should be out before the detailed application form is filled. You can apply you are eligible for that.
Good luck.

Hi Aroup,
Yes, you can still apply for the same. The eligibility criteria and average course fee charged in India for the course vary from institute to institute. The minimum criterion of eligibility needed to be met for admission to the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognised institute/ university.

Hi dear,
Yes, of course.
It will provide you with an upper hand.
Economics is a compulsory subject for a finance candidate.
Though it may not be a specialization subject, but it will be used in all the other subjects directly or indirectly.
Thanks and all the best.
